I was founder, editor, and contributor to online arts magazine Syphilitic Mermaids Magazine, which faded out along with MySpace. Syphmag published art, photography, comics, fiction, poetry, and non fiction. Contributors included Lara Violet, Heather Kim, Theo Markou, Melissa Bula, Margo Stevens, and Robert Hiley. The magazine eventually birthed a micro-publishing press called IT3, or I'm Trying I'm Trying I'm Trying. Syphilitic Mermaids Magazine appeared at several small press and zine fairs and coordinated art shows and music events including The Ghost Show (2009).
